Men too have to keep pace with fashion

When it comes to fashion, women are generally the ones who are focused. Men’s fashions have come a long way. They can no longer put on anything and be seen everywhere. Like the fairer sex, males too have their do’s and not don’ts to follow.

For women, the choice is unlimited but men should not be disheartened. They can team differently with the following must-haves for those killer looks.

FORMAL WEAR

Suits

No need to bother if you do not have an entire wardrobe of suits. Even two sets of suits with a classic cut would do. A classic cut is usually a single breasted, black or grey piece that is evergreen. Remember there are times when you just cannot dress cheap!

Shirts

A clean and fresh white shirt is the best bet for the formal look. Bankers should try for colours like blue and mauve as this is an age-old norm. A person with a good physique can wear shirts as a casual wear. It looks smart.

Ties

Nothing completes a formal look more than a tie. Purchase at least one or two ties every year to keep abreast with the fashion pace. Do not go by the price. Quality comes first.

Black shoes and belts

Ensure that your shoes, belts and socks are the same colour. Black is universal but do not follow this rule too strictly. Go for other colours as well, if they complement you.

CAUSAL WEAR

Jeans

The one thing to really treasure in your wardrobe is a pair of denims. Jeans is very dear to a man. The best part about jeans is that even a worn out  jeans looks good. It is a versatile garment and can be teamed with shirts, T-shirts or kurtas for different combinations.

T-shirts

The best combi with jeans is a T-shirt. It is the most powerful and ultimate fashion essential for any man.

Sneakers

Sneakers are always a good addition to the casual ensemble. One must look out for new sneakers every year.

Accessories

A leather wallet in black and brown and a classic watch on the wrist completes the dressing. Wallets are neutral and can be used for both casual and formal occasions. One casual and one formal watch or an all-purpose watch is all you need.

It is time to dress-up, man!
